Main Duties and Responsibilities
• Manage productivity and performance a team of 87 staff including Drivers, porters, admin, deputy manager and supervisors
• Day to day management of personnel including: staffing levels (inc. recruitment agency staff) allocation of duties, holidays, communication briefings, discipline and grievance issues.
• Ensure tachograph compliance via smart analysis – Weekly infringement reports
• Conduct regular auditing to ensure full compliance with vehicle management/servicing schedules

• Ensure all vehicles are operated correctly and safely and maintained as set out in service schedules. A fleet of 21 vehicles including 7.5t, class 2 and 3.5t vehicles.

• Liaised with HR and on HR issues including new starters, training, recruitment. Dealt with disciplinary hearings up to and including dismissals.
