The Best Connection Portsmouth are looking for HGV/LGV2 drivers for a 2 month contract for a client based in Southampton.

What will the job involve?

The role will expect Drivers to operate a HGV2/LGV2 in which they will drive to the main hub, collect deliveries and head to a satellite depot where they will then unload to other vehicles for distribution around the south coast.

What must I have to meet the criteria for the role?

To be considered for this driving role, all applicants must meet the following criteria:

Previous driving experience desired with references to support.
HGV2/LGV2 entitlement on licence with full CPC and current Digicard.
A maximum of 6 points on driving licence – minor offences accepted – ** No DD’s / DR’s / IN’s / CD’s **
To be flexible with changing start times.
What’s the pay and hours rate for this role?

The rates of pay vary of the hours and days you will work:

Monday to Friday (Days) – £11.61ph

Saturday & Sunday (Days) – £15.57ph

Nights (Sunday – Friday) – £12.70ph

Rates of pay will increase if your with an Umbrella company or have a Ltd Company setup. Start times will range from 1400 – 2200.
