We are currently recruiting for a HGV2 Driver to join our clients team in the Gloucester area.
Experience within the industry would be an advantage but not essential. Will train you and support you through industry qualifications. HGV Drivers must hold a minimum of HGV/LGV Cat C licence with relevant CPC modules.
Thorough knowledge of current legislation of LGV vehicles
Experience of driving LGV vehicles in a commercial environment
Flexible and reliable work ethic
Full Driving Licence
LGV Class C or C +E Licence
Driver CPC
Additional duties that may be required as part of the role: *
Assist with Winter Maintenance gritting, as required during the Winter Maintenance
To assist with MRT duties as and when
To install and maintain Traffic Management
Any other tickets such as roller, dumper etc would be a big advantage also.
Working days are Mon – Fri with Winter stand by bonus.

We are looking for owner-drivers, fleet owners, and HGV drivers (Class 1 or 2) based anywhere in the UK and interested in taking the next step up and becoming owner-operators and transport company owners. To get started and apply for an Operator's Licence, you need to have £8,000 which is a requirement of the UK and EU transport regulations (you won't spend it). We can help you with the rest of the process.
