Our Compliance Function
With a diverse team of Compliance professionals supporting all areas of our business around the globe, the team is working diligently to be innovative and present all business partners with thoughtful and unique solutions to the challenges they face. The Compliance function has a robust set of priorities in place focused on best practice and employee development to ensure goals are delivered.
J.P. Morgan is seeking a Vice President with excellent organizational, interpersonal, and technical skills to join the EMEA Compliance Policies, Education and Awareness team. The candidate will work closely with line of business (LoB) and Corporate Function (CF) aligned Compliance, EMEA Country Compliance, Compliance Practices, and ex-EMEA Compliance Education to help deliver J.P. Morgan’s annual Compliance training plan, including the development of online Compliance training courses. The role will report into the EMEA Head of Training.
The Candidate Will:
Design, develop and implement learning solutions using instructional design principles to support J.P. Morgan’s LOBs, CF functions and regions. Specifically, the candidate will:
advise key stakeholders on effective training solutions;
design and develop interactive and innovative instructional online courses; and
work with subject matter experts (SMEs) and EMEA Education colleagues to develop effective and high quality Compliance training content.
Develop course project plans and adhere to timings and steps established in each course’s plan.
Work with SMEs and EMEA Education colleagues to confirm audience selection for each Compliance training course.
Develop and maintain a framework to monitor stakeholder feedback on each delivered Compliance training course and improve quality of training based on this feedback.
Assist with reporting of metrics and other Compliance training related information.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent).
Significant learning and development related experience, including experience in instructional design and adult learning theory methodology.
Excellent technical skills and demonstrated experience with SCORM, HTML and e-learning software (for example, Articulate Studio/Storyline/Lectora)
Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Powerpoint, Word).
Knowledge of learning management systems.
Experience in financial services e-learning, in particular Compliance or other Control Function, would be an asset.
Proven ability to manage relationships with a number of stakeholders and work effectively with all levels of staff, in person and remotely.
Effective time management skills including an ability to juggle competing priorities and adapt flexibly to changes.
Excellent attention to detail with a methodical and thorough approach to work
An appreciation for, and commitment to, working in a controls environment.
