HGV Driver

V-Recruit are recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 drivers for Permanent, full time contracts in the Sheffield area to start work in the coming weeks.

V-Recruit are recruiting on behalf of a family owned haulage business based in Sheffield who operate Pallet Network, General Haulage & a customer built warehousing facility just off the M1.

Our client are looking to grow their team & bring in additional Class 1 General Haulage Drivers.

Key duties:
· Deliveries & Collections
· Ensuring that all time restrains are adhered to
· Liaising with the Planning team with daily issues
. This role will include nights out numbering ‪from 0 – 5 nights per week,‬ so flexibility is a must.

Skills & Experience;
· 2 years minimum holding a class 1 licence
· No more than 6 penalty points
· No prior disqualifications
· Experience in Class 1 general haulage & Multi-drop
· Customer friendly and presentable

Salary;
· £29,626.25 per year based on 50 hour per week. anything worked past 50 hours is paid at;
· £11.39 per hour ‪Mon – Fri‬
· £12.50 per hour Saturday (Min 4 hours)
· £15.00 per hour Sunday (if needed)
· £26.20 per night out

Holidays;
· Initial holiday entitlement is 28 days holiday per year inclusive of 8 public bank holidays.
Due to the nature of the work, it is a term of employment that you may be required to work on public bank holidays when requested to do so. Should you be required to work on a public bank holiday, you will be entitled to an alternative day’s holiday.
· You will then receive 1 additional day per year completed in full (Jan-Dec) to a maximum of 5 additional days
