CAT C Driver in Chertsey

We are seeking an extra HGV C Driver to work with our client on the day shift. This is a temp to perm, opportunity working for a reputable furniture manufacturer and distributor company in Chertsey. Your role is pivotal to their operation and working independently or double manned, you will be responsible for delivering goods safely to various sites across mainland UK.

Requirements

As a competent and experienced Class 2 Driver, you will have;
UK Cat C licence with digital tacho card and full CPC

No more than 6 points for minor offences

An understanding of driver hours and regulations

Be willing to work alternate weeks away

Excellent Customer service

Be willing to learn to assemble furniture at high end retail stores and customers

Must be fit and able to carry furniture

Pay and Hours
PAYE Advance rate £11.40 – £13.40 per hour ( first 12 weeks )

Shift start times between 07.00 and 17.00

Some weekend work also available
