Background
The International ETF Platform forms an integrated part of the Global ETF Beta Group and is part of the Client Service (CS) & Business Platform (BP) Group within JPMAM. The team aims to:
Develop, oversee & maintain the end-to-end operating model for the international ETF business (e.g.: ex-US),
Coordinate efforts across internal & external stakeholders toward the Beta Business’s strategic objectives,
Coordinate product launch and development of new markets, listing and trading of ETFs,
We maintain close relationships with the internal & external actors of the ETF Ecosystem, ensuring sound management of risks & issues and acting as escalation point for the business.
In close partnership with the International Capital Markets team (CAMPT), to facilitate on-boarding of Authorised Participants (APs) / Market Makers (MMs).

The Role:
We are looking for a high calibre individual with significant ETF business experience, to join our team based in London reporting into the Head of International ETF Platform, based in Luxembourg.
Working closely with other groups (Capital Market team, Sales distribution, Technology, Management Company etc.) and with access to subject matter experts, you will be primarily tasked with the analysis, identification as well as execution (if relevant) of key Business change initiatives or opportunities relating to:
Impact assessment, coordination of product launches planning & listing
ETFs Enhancement review & prioritisation
Policy review
Daily BAU management of PlatformThis will require robust analytical skills and ability to communicate effectively with CAMPT CS & BP Management, ETF Sales as well as Control and Administrative functions to ensure that such opportunities are thoroughly assessed. Based upon your assessment, this could lead to potential projects, where you could provide, if appropriate, effective solutions to existing gaps in technology/processes via the implementation of operating model solutions which meet the business requirements.
Daily interaction with representatives from business partners outside Operations will be expected and may include but not limited to, Sales Offices, Management Company, Marketing, Company Secretary, Compliance, Risk Management, Product Development Groups and Legal teams.

Establish the International ETF Platform as best in class for BAU
Oversight and control – Risk and control-self assessment, Regulatory & Listings reporting liability monitoring
Subject matter expert with respect to unique ETF requirements
Procedures mapping incl. Resiliency Plan management
Governance set-up
Engage with Product Strategy & Product Development for the 2018 ETF product pipeline
KYV – Know Your Vendor & KYC – Know Your Client
Continuous support the Onboarding of additional APs with CAPMT
Day 2 activities/Business enhancement planning and monitoring
Support new ETF launches
Support the International ETF Business development and expansion – new listings and new regions
Support Regulatory programmes as appropriate
Continuous promotion and training on ETF within locations
Continuous active engagement with European trade associations to represent JPMAM and its ETF agenda
Provide the mechanisms for the effective assessment of operational capabilities and capacity for new business opportunities based upon new business demand or regulatory opportunities
Understand and transform new business requirements in to operational models

Strong understanding of commercial, financial, legislative and regulatory requirements related to ETFs in Europe
Aptitude at relationship building with all types of stakeholders, with good communication and interpersonal skills
Demonstrable experience writing business requirements specifications. Ability to work as part of a team in a multi-discipline environment and in a matrix organisation
Experience/ knowledge of project governance and risk management frameworks. Knowledge of Project management methodologies is a plus but not critical
Experience in cross-functional teams e.g. across change management, business and 3rd party vendors
Intermediate or advanced level in all MS office applications
