We are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a successful blue chip company in BEDFORDSHIRE, MK43 where 2.1 million home deliveries are made each week!

Role Purpose: Responsible for a driving Class 2 vehicle and multi-drop deliveries to customer’s homes alongside a driver’s mate.

Main responsibilities include: Manual handling of customer products, Timely and efficient completion of multi-drop deliveries and transportation

Two person lifting of heavy items

Undergo regular training and driving assessments

Work in a safe manner

Comply with local legislation requirements,company policies & procedures

Represent the company in a professional manner to customers and provide excellent customer service at all times

Regular completion of vehicle checks

Comply with working time legislation

Skills required for the role:

Valid Driving Licence, CPC &Tacho

Previous experience driving commercial vehicles

Ability to move products whilst adhering by H&S regulations

Knowledge of geographical area

Read, understand and follow instructions for directions

Fluent English

No more than 6 points on license

Minimum of 6 months driving experience

Flexibility to work different shift patterns with variable start and finish times

Team work – assist and support colleagues in the region

BECOME AN OWNER-DRIVER AND WORK FOR YOURSELF! AVERAGE EARNINGS: £45,000 – £60,000 PER YEAR. AVAILABLE ANYWHERE IN THE UK.

CONTRACT HAULAGE WORK AVAILABLE ALL YEAR ROUND FOR OWNER-DRIVERS AND FLEET OWNERS WITH RIGID OR ARTICULATED VEHICLES.

We are looking for owner-drivers, fleet owners, and HGV drivers (Class 1 or 2) based anywhere in the UK and interested in taking the next step up and becoming owner-operators and transport company owners. To get started and apply for an Operator’s Licence, you need to have £8,000 which is a requirement of the UK and EU transport regulations (you won’t spend it). We can help you with the rest of the process.
