Team Description
The EMEA TS Corporate Sales team is part of the Global Corporate Bank and responsible for all EMEA HQ Corporates. The TS Sales role and responsibility combines managing existing client relationships and building new business. The teams work closely with the various TS product areas of Core Cash, Liquidity Management, FX, Escrow, as well as the Merchant Services and Commercial Card product teams.
The team is accountable for sales initiatives to increase JPMorgan’s cross-LOB revenues and bottom-line contribution.
Role Description
This London based position is within the TS Sales team covering corporate clients Headquartered in the UK & Ireland. As part of TS front office Team in London, the TS Sales Associate will be responsible for client and market intelligence for new and existing clients and supporting the sales team’s various requirements. Including administrative support around Know Your Customer (KYC) & on-boarding process, preparing client facing materials and other efforts.
This role will include:
Sales Support
Support Sales teams through ad hoc project work and analysis
Provide assistance to Sales teams to ensure that clients are receiving agreed services
Support the team to manage the on-boarding and the KYC processes
Develop a relationship with the team they are supporting
Be involved in the preparation of client account plans, senior officer briefing memos and portfolio management reporting.
Deal Support
Prepare and review marketing material (pitch books, presentations and slip sheets) for Sales ensuring clarity, accuracy and consistency
Support Sales managers and Associates with preparation of proposals
Work closely with Sales, Product and Implementation teams to collate relevant and accurate information to kick off deal implementation process
Take ownership for the end-to-end deal management process, mastering the use of the implementation tool (Deal Manager)
Prepare internal forms for billing of new clients/new products, control correct bills after implementationClient/Market Intelligence
Set up and maintain client data
Assist Associates run client-focused internal projects
Analyse key revenue and pipeline data in order to deliver monthly reports to senior management
Conduct research on existing client portfolios and prospective clients
Partner with Sales and Product Management in their annual client account planning process to provide fundamental research on current and target market sizing by region
Process Improvement
Identify opportunities for process improvement and work with relevant partners (Sales, Implementation, Product Management) to deliver to the business
Skills and experience
Bachelor’s degree with outstanding academic credentials
Preferred relevant work experience in either TS, Corporate Banking, Investment Banking or Credit
Ability to build productive and quality working relationships to achieve results
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities, working to tight deadlines in a disciplined manner
Team player
Can-do attitude with focus on delivery and execution
Ability to work on own initiative
Excellent written and verbal communication skills paying attention to detail
Advanced knowledge of MS Office including, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
