At Lloyds Banking Group we’re driven by a clear purpose; to Help Britain Prosper. Across the Group, our colleagues are passionate about making a difference to customers, business and communities.
Our Legal teams work in partnership with our customer-facing businesses and our support functions to deliver high quality legal advice and manage legal risk across a wide range of customer segments, products, transactions and markets.
We’re currently seeking a Legal Project Manager reporting into the Head of Legal Operations, within our Legal Practice Management team, where we’re responsible for the provision of assistance and specialist knowledge in a broad range of areas, which include Resource and Cost Management, Operational and Legal Risk and Change.
This is a unique opportunity to be involved in an exciting period of change, working on a strategic project for the Legal division. It’s essential that you have experience in change management and it would be advantageous if you’ve worked on projects with a Legal focus and understand how the function works. Alternatively, we’d be interested in hearing from you if you can demonstrate transferable skills from leading change in a differing centralised function – especially if you have a curiosity and passion to lead change, with great flexibility and a positive attitude.
As a senior leader, It’s key that you take personal responsibility for relationships with stakeholders, through engaging, building and maintaining relationships both internally and externally. We’ll need you to be confident at both influencing and challenging all levels of stakeholders, particularly at the senior level in an ever-changing and rapidly changing environment.
You’ll need to be able to consistently apply project governance, be comfortable being accountable for all financial aspects of a project and monitor and report on performance, as well as handling project risks and issues. You’ll also need a relevant qualification or proven experience in Prince2 methodology – the banks preferred route to deliver change projects.
As well as the owning the project, you’ll need to be willing to get directly involved in some of the project work, pitching in where necessary, being creative and really breaking up complicated ideas and keeping them simple.
We’re a friendly, supportive team, this really is great opportunity for the right person to join us. We’re also supportive of agile working, and open to considering aspects of this to suit individual and business requirements on a flexible basis and as appropriate.
In return, in addition to salary, we offer an award-winning benefits package, car allowance, a contributory pension scheme and private medical insurance, as well as a flexible benefit scheme with industry leading benefits on offer.
We’re passionate about diversity and providing equal opportunity. Join us and be part of an inclusive, values-led culture focused on making a difference. Whatever your aspiration, you can also expect excellent benefits, personal development and a career that’s enriching and full of opportunity.
Together we make it possible.
