As a professional building surveyor and with over 13 years industry experience, and as director of Rectory Surveyors Ltd, I am able to meet the surveying requirements of a wide range of domestic and commercial clients across a diverse range of projects.

I am responsible for a varied portfolio within both the private and public sector, from the simple and straightforward to the complex and high value, including but not limited to, project management, party wall matters and social housing.

I take pride in providing a service that is uniquely tailored to the needs of each client, approaching each and every set of instructions with absolute integrity, care and competence. I also ensure that my work is consistently conducted in accordance with the highest professional and ethical standards.

Professional Experience

I undertake a wide range of general building surveying duties regularly executing Surveyor’s duties under the Party Wall etc Act 1996 and have twelve years of experience.  My duties also include architectural design, specification, site administration and cost control for building works of every kind, including Town Planning for all building types including listed buildings, on behalf of Public Authorities, Housing Associations, Commercial, Educational, Medical, Ecclesiastical and Private Clients. I have undertaken and managed under partner supervision various projects in the role of Principal Designer and Contract Administrator (JCT Minor Works and Intermediate Contracts).

I can demonstrate a good technical knowledge of traditional and modern building construction undertaking architectural design, specification, site administration and cost control for building works and inspections for schedules of condition of residential and commercial properties and quinquennial inspections of Church buildings. I am self-motivated with an ability to use initiative and control and to maintain a busy workload, with university standard of written and oral English and good interpersonal and negotiation skills, with excellent IT and proficiency in the use of AutoCad and Vectorworks.
