Pure Staff are currently looking for enthusiastic & experienced HGV C+E (Class 1) drivers to join our clients team of full time employees.

Our client is one of the most well respected general haulage contractors in the local area that also offers same day and pallet network work.

Pure Staff is working on their behalf to find the required 5 x Class 1 HGV C+E general haulage drivers to work on full time permanent contracts,

The job its self can consist of multiple drops (1 to 10) this can include long shifts but in keeping with tachograph law

Distribution is completed in a Class 1 C+E Articulated lorry with curtain side trailer, normally a Automatic Mrec Actros. (There is handball on this job, In general electric pump trucks are used & make light work of the load)

Our Clients are looking for candidate’s that can not only drive HGV C+E Class 1 Articulated lorry successfully but that can communicate well to ensure that all deliveries / collections are completed.

There is a stop call wait procedure to maximise on productivity and keep drivers informed on possible delays or route changes.

The perfect candidate will be of smart appearance with a polite nature, you will need to show willingness to give that little extra to ensure our clients end user has the best experience possible.

Start times can vary but normally between 02:00am and 08:00am

for this role you will require;

HGV C+E Driving licence
CPC Card
Digital thacograph card
Clean Licence with no more than 6 points (no TT MS DR DD) codes
Experience not necessary but can be advantageous
Pay;

Days £11.00 to £12.00per hour PAYE dependant on times

Pure Staff prides its self on delivering a first class service and as a direct result we offer loyalty incentives for all drivers from Van to 7.5t & HGV;

Refer a HGV/LGV driver and after he worked for us for a month receive £100 for you and £50 for them!

After 400 hours (about 8 weeks) of work you will get a gift box also a Loyalty card – which will earn you a £1 for each shift worked for us.
