Operations manager

We have now opened a new position for an operations manager to take charge of the whole day to day running of the company.

the role will include looking after approx 20 staff, vans, HGV’s, management and the operation of the company.

the main purpose of the role is to lift the responsibility’s from the director and other managers and to assist with the smooth operation of the company.

the company is located on junction 24 of the M25. We are currently going through a fit out of new offices and need help and support with settling in and managing the day to day teams out on site and in the offices.

Training will be supplied for site works of which will be mandatory.

you will be required to start work at 6am every weekday and be responsible for all drivers and operators needs / requirements, issues etc

As an emergency service, the role is fast paced and requires fast on the spot decisions and organisation.

routing of HGV tankers and engineers is another key role.

This role is extremely hard work and requires full dedication, decision making, driving to sites, spending days in and out of the office, preferably being able to drive a tanker as and when needed should a driver call in sick and generally all round thinking for your self and getting stuff done.

Hours will be a minimum of 6am till 5pm + overtime weekends may also be required to over see site works
