Robert Body Haulage Ltd are seeking reliable and skilled class 2 Drivers to join our team in Borough green. The ideal candidates will have the ability to operate large vehicles with precision while transporting various materials and waste across the south east. This role requires a valid class 2 driving licence, Digital tacho card and a valid drivers CPC.

Responsibilities

Safely operate hgv’s to transport goods to designated locations.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety standards are met.
Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, and deliveries as per regulatory requirements.
Load and unload ensuring that all items are secured properly for transit.
Communicate effectively with transport office and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered on the road.
Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while maintaining a high standard of professionalism on the road.
Perform basic mechanical checks and maintenance on the vehicle when necessary.
Skills

Valid class 2 driving licence preferably with a clean driving record.
Valid drivers CPC.
Be 25 years old or over for insurance purposes.
Must have 2 years previous tipping experience.
Good geographical knowledge of the south east.
Some mechanical knowledge to assist in vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting would be an advantage but not necessary.
Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
Good communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
This is a full time, permanent opportunity and can be offered on a self-employed or PAYE basis, we also operate a daily attendance bonus scheme and wages are paid weekly.

10 hour shifts, Monday-Friday with occasional Saturday mornings.

Yard is located on Wrotham road, Borough green, TN15 8DE.
