Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Class 2 HGV Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be operating a Skip Lorry and/or a Roll on Roll off Lorry.

Experience in one or more listed vehicle is required.

Pay Equivalent from £14.31 PH

Overtime after 45 hours at £20 PH

Paid Breaks

Overtime Pay and weekend work readily available

Responsibilities

To use the vehicle safely and efficiently whilst driving, loading, unloading or tipping
To work closely with other team members to ensure compliance with health and safety procedures, management systems and regulations, e.g. ensuring you use the required PPE at all times
To communicate effectively with Weighbridge and Yard team members, line managers and Directors
To adhere to delivery schedules and routes as planned by the transport manager, and to report any problems faced during your route
To represent the company in a respectful and courteous manner when dealing with customers, clients and contractors
To stay compliant with tacho in respect to EU driving hours and the working time directive
To ensure your vehicle is well looked after, ensure your daily vehicle walk around checks are completed and any defects are reported
To drive safely during busy traffic periods, in adverse weather conditions or at night
To support and drive Continuous Professional Development as required by the company and partake as required.
Requirements

Skip/ RORO Experience
HGV Class 2 Licence
Good driving record with no major violations or accidents, applicants with more than 6 penalty points cannot be considered.
