Location: Mellor Brook, Blackburn

Clarendon Haulage Co Ltd, a reputable, long-standing family business in Mellor Brook, Blackburn, seeks a dedicated Class 1 (C+E) HGV Driver to join our team.

Role Overview:

Deliveries and collections nationwide for our clients.
General Haulage
Distance Work, Average 2-4 nights out a week. Occasional Saturday run-in.

Candidate Requirements:

Full CAT C+E (Class 1) licence for minimum 2 years
25 yrs +
Valid Digital Tachograph Card, Drivers Qualification Card (CPC Card)
Proficient in English (speaking, reading, writing)
General haulage experience preferred
Reliable, punctual, with flexible work ethic
Good understanding of the UK road network
Applicants should reside locally to the Blackburn/Preston area
Your Responsibilities:

General driving duties, ensuring timely deliveries nationwide
Maintaining load security
Daily vehicle checks
Compliance with vehicle safety and driving regulations
Accurate completion of paperwork and use of customer apps

We are looking for owner-drivers, fleet owners, and HGV drivers (Class 1 or 2) based anywhere in the UK and interested in taking the next step up and becoming owner-operators and transport company owners.
