·        Ensure the vehicle is road worthy and keep management informed of any defects or issues found during daily walk around checks.  

·        Be aware of different site Health and safety regulations (especially recycling centres due to working in close proximity to the general public.

·        Follow all manual handling safety procedures as well as safe operation of handling equipment .  Be aware of the factory Health and Safety protocols due to heavy plant and machinery operating .
