Position overview:
Optimas is looking for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to take responsibility for delivering products to multiple customer locations.

Key responsibilities:
Deliver/Collect products to and from Customer sites daily
Plan routes and schedules to ensure timetable is adhered to
To load and unload the vehicle
Complete delivery/collection paperwork accurately
To carry out visual inspection on all products being collected from site for chargeable damage
Ensure that all products loaded/unloaded for delivery and collection is done so in a safe manner and that products are secured correctly for transport.
To ensure Truck is kept clean and free of any debris that could cause harm to you or damage to vehicle.
To operate all equipment for delivery/collection in a safe manner.
Take responsibility for own Health and Safety as well as your colleagues ensuring all company policies and procedures are adhered to all times.
To be compliant with both working/driving time directive
To participate in warehouse duties as required (ie holidays, busy periods etc)
Ensure correct PPE is worn at all times (High Viz Vest/Steel toe boots etc)
Skills and Qualifications:
Class C driving license & Driver CPC Training
Significant driver experience in a similar role
A clean driving licence
Patience and organisation
Enjoying your own company
Maintenance abilities
FLT License
Excellent time management
