HGV Class 2 Driver

LINKS Recruitment Group are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of our prestigious client based within Cardiff who are seeking an experienced Class 2 Driver for bakery deliveries.

You must be somebody who enjoys starting work early due to start times ranging from 01:00 – 04:00, you will work 5 days a week which will include weekend work on a rota basis.

This is an ongoing position whereby you will join the full-time rota and know in advance what shifts you will be completing.

Main Purpose of the role –

You will be required to complete on average 10 – 12 drops per day, following a set route and ensuring all orders are delivered. This role will involve physical interaction at all deliveries, you will have to wheel off customer orders at delivery points.

Key Responsibilities –

· To deliver all customer products safely and on time.

· Adhere to delivery schedules and report any possible delivery delays.

· Represent the company’s brand and values.

· Adherence to Drivers’ working hours.

The Person –

· Full Cat C / Class 2 licence entitlement

· CPC Card

· Digital Tachograph Card

· Must be able to start between 01:00 – 04:00

· Must be able to work weekends

· Ability to prioritise effectively

· Good communication skills

· Pro-active attitude, ability to adapt to situations

· Good geographical knowledge

Package –

· £11.26ph (PAYE)
