We’re excited to welcome new talent to our growing operation at the newly acquired A R Fuels depot in Stokesley.

If you’re a motivated, enthusiastic driver with strong communication skills and a commitment to safety and service, we’d love to hear from you.

About the Role

As a tanker driver, you’ll be responsible for delivering petroleum products to domestic and agricultural customers across the region.

This is a customer-facing role, so professionalism and a friendly attitude are key. The position offers a permanent 40-hour week with flexibility built in.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver fuel safely and efficiently to designated locations
Interact with customers in a courteous and professional manner
Conduct daily vehicle checks and ensure compliance with legal driving hours
Manage your own schedule and breaks in line with regulations
Perform basic vehicle maintenance and ensure accurate tacho downloads
What You’ll Need

A valid UK driving licence
Minimum 6 months of commercial driving experience
Current digital tacho card, full CPC, and ADR certification
PDP preferred but not essential
Willingness to work overtime as required
Pay

£16.28/hour during probation
£16.78/hour basic rate
Up to £19.01/hour for overtime

We are looking for owner-drivers, fleet owners, and HGV drivers (Class 1 or 2) based anywhere in the UK and interested in taking the next step up and becoming owner-operators and transport company owners. To get started and apply for an Operator’s Licence, you need to have £8,000 which is a requirement of the UK and EU transport regulations (you won’t spend it). We can help you with the rest of the process.
