Our customer is a large household name retail store, they have urgent vacancies for HGV Class 1 drivers to joing their team on a full time temp to perm role asap.

Job Description

Delivering goods to own brand stores, usually 2-4 deliveries per day dependant on store size.

You will be required to use at times a pallet truck and or tail lift but not always depending on store. Some stores will have caged deliveries and store staff are there to assist.

You may be required to do trunking runs instead at times.

This company works on shift patterns, the ones we have availabe right now are;

Fri – Mon (11am-1pm starts)

Tues – Sat

Sun – Thu

Licence requirements:

HGV Class 1 licence
Up to date CPC
Digi card
Max 6 penalty points
No DD or IN10 penalty codes
New pass drivers welcome at this customer

You Must:

Have good command of English both written and spoken
Have a positive attitude and great work ethic
Have a good geographic knowledge of UK road network
Be punctual
Smart appearance as will be representing the company (no Jeans etc.)
Keep vehicle clean to a good standard

Salary:

Days per hour: £12.00
Nights per hour: £tbc
Night out allowance £ tbc
Weekends £14.00

Guarenteed 43 hours per week.

Paid direct form the company on PAYE employed basis.

After 12 weeks you will be entitled to free CPC modules
