Candidate Duties

We are currently looking to recruit a Class 1 (C+E) driver to work day shift based out of the West Fraser factory at Cowie. Work may include some multi-drop deliveries as well as full loads to varying locations but mainly throughout Scotland’s central belt. The candidate will also be expected to load trailers, strap and secure the loads with ratchet straps, and bring trailers down to our depot in Brampton for onward delivery with another driver.

Requirements

Class 1 C+E licence. 1 year of experience preferred but not essential.

Valid Driver CPC and tacho card essential

Own transport to FK7 7BQ is required.

This is a full time, permanent position using a well kitted out, automatic DAF truck with a fridge, microwave and pulling curtain-sided trailers. Uniform and pension are standard. The vehicle may be double shifted with a night shift driver.
