HGV Class 2 Night Driver (Category C)
Location: Camberley
Contract: Permanent – Night shifts (approx. 50 hours per week, rota cover included)

Immediate Transportation Co. Ltd is a long-established freight-forwarding and logistics provider with FORS Gold accreditation. We are seeking a reliable and professional HGV Class 2 Night Driver to join our Transport team in Camberley.

The Role
You will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of goods during night shifts, supporting overnight collections, trunking, and time-critical deliveries. This is a key role within our logistics network, requiring safety, compliance, and professionalism.

Key responsibilities include:

Driving a Class C (HGV Class 2) vehicle on night operations across the UK.
Completing collections, depot-to-depot runs, and time-sensitive deliveries.
Carrying out daily and additional vehicle checks for night operations.
Complying with Driver Hours Regulations, tachograph rules, Working Time Directive, and night working regulations.
Communicating effectively with the transport office during out-of-hours operations.
Safely navigating routes during reduced visibility.
Providing professional customer service at delivery/collection points operating overnight.
About You
Essential requirements:

Full UK Driving Licence – Category C (HGV Class 2).
CPC Driver Certificate of Professional Competence.
Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
Minimum 2 years’ experience driving large commercial vehicles.
No more than 3 penalty points.
Willingness and ability to work night shifts regularly.
Reliable and self-motivated, able to work with minimal supervision.
Desirable:

Experience with night trunking or overnight routes.
Experience with flatbed vehicles.
FORS training.
Background in logistics or freight transport.
