We are now looking for an LGV Class 2 Driver to join us on a full-time, permanent basis, working Monday to Friday, with shifts starting between 6am and 7am.

The Role

As an LGV Class 2 Driver, you will support our Howden’s Joinery contract, working from our Erith site.

Specifically, you will undertake around 8-10 deliveries per day to Howden’s depots across Essex, Kent and the Home Counties.

You will work to a pre-routed schedule, ensuring timely drops at the depots where your palletised loads will be loaded and unloaded by forklift.

Additionally, you will:

– Perform vehicle inspections and ensure adherence to safety standards
– Manage all documentation for each delivery accurately
– Communicate effectively with clients and depots as needed

Please note, this role will require light manual handling.

About You

To be considered as an LGV Class 2 Driver, you will need:

– A full, valid Class 2 driving licence with at least two years’ commercial driving experience
– A maximum of six points on your licence (excluding BA, CD, DD, DR, or DG codes)
– A valid Driver CPC Card
– A valid Digital Tachograph card
