Scaffolding Company based near Dartford requires Class 1 / Class 2 Drivers.
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial driving, particularly with flatbed vehicles, and a strong commitment to safety and efficiency. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining the highest standards of vehicle care.

Responsibilities

Operate flatbed lorries in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
Assist with loading and unloading cargo securely, ensuring that all items are properly strapped down for transport.
Plan routes effectively to optimise delivery times while considering road conditions and regulations. Destinations are mainly in London and surrounding areas
Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients during deliveries.
Experience

Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is essential.
Valid HGV licence with a clean driving record is required.
Minimum 2 years HGV driving experience preferred
Knowledge of commercial driving regulations and safety standards is necessary.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
