Cash and Liquidity Markets
The Cash and Liquidity Markets [CALM] group provides liquidity market expertise to Investor Services clientele as well as management of third party money market relationships firm wide. The group works with Prime Brokerage, Prime Custody, Custody and Fund Services, Global Clearing and Agent Lending sales teams to provide off-balance sheet solutions to our institutional clients and prospects.
Business Overview and Objectives
The CALM Off-Balance Sheet Product Manager plays a critical role in supporting the JPM Liquidity business strategy and growth. The person will own projects and initiatives to meet business targets, will support team members in the overall execution of product and market expansion projects, and will be driving product change to respond to regulations and/or client experience.
Responsibilities:
Serve as a knowledge resource with respect to Off-balance sheet products, respective operating models as well as external industry knowledge and competition
Build and maintain product specific documentation such as product manuals, architecture diagrams, SLAs, FAQs, Reporting guides etc.
Create Business Requirement Documents and work closely with product development to ensure the high-level requirements are understood and timelines delivered
Partner with Fund Sponsors to close gaps in offering and governance
Manage and assist in running new business initiative programmes
Work closely with functional partners to close product gaps and progress product readiness in various markets
Manage investors’ fund communication
Represent the business in various internal governance, risk and control meetings
Escalation point for production issues
Monitor transaction flows and remediate exceptions in support of the broker-dealer liquidity business
Manage and improve MIS
Train internal clients such as Sales and Client Service
Lead remediation projectsQualifications/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree
Understanding of the Asset Management/ Money Market Fund industry;
Prior experience in Liquidity Product management or Product development
Commercial acumen and ability to articulate business ideas
High degree of proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint required
Strong interpersonal abilities and attention to detail
Flexible, teammate able to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines in a collaborative, inspiring environmentThis role encompasses the performance of regulated activity. The successful candidate will therefore be subject to meeting regulatory requirements in the assessment of fitness, propriety, knowledge and competence (as assessed by the Firm) and (where appropriate) approval by the relevant regulatory authorities to carry out such activities.
