Due to strong growth, we’re now recruiting competent and reliable Class 2 Skip/RoRo Drivers to join our team in Kearsley (BL4 8NB).

About the Role

You will be responsible for operating a Skip/RoRo vehicle so experience in both is desirable, but we’re happy to provide training for the right person.

Key Responsibilities:

Delivery and collection of Skips and RoRo containers
Friendly and professional interaction with customers
Keeping your vehicle clean, well-maintained, and roadworthy
Conducting daily vehicle checks and defect reports
Working safely and in line with compliance standards
What We’re Looking For

Valid Class 2 driving licence, CPC, and Digital Tachograph
At least 12 months’ driving experience
Skip and/or RoRo experience (preferred)
A focus on customer service and safe working practices
Good communication, reliability, and flexibility
Waste industry experience (a bonus, but not essential)
Hours & Benefits

Average of 44 hours per week (overtime available)
Paid break (30 minutes paid making your hourly rate equivalent to £15.69!)
Multi-mode pay structure if you are wanting and willing to develop on other modes i.e. Electric Skip Vehicle, Road Sweeper, Trade/RCV Vehicle.
Overtime rates after 44 hours (paid x 1.5 of your hourly rate)
Bi-annual bonus scheme up to £500
Company Pension Scheme
Employee Life Cover – up to £40,000 (T&Cs apply)
20 days holiday + paid bank holidays (increases to 24 days with service)
Additional pay for occasional weekends & bank holidays (rota basis 1 in 4)
We operate a modern fleet
Driver CPC funded
Out of hours call out fee minimum of £118.00 + hours worked
Staff referral bonus – £500 (T&Cs apply)

Uniform provided
Schedule: Monday to Friday, with some Saturday work on a rota basis.

Location: Based in Kearsley, Greater Manchester (on-site role)
