Fund Services

Middle Office Services
J.P. Morgan Middle Office Services provides institutional investors with the capabilities to enable them to outsource their post-trade execution “middle office” operational activities. The product delivers capability across trade services, lifecycle management, investment record, asset servicing and treasury services across all asset classes. It is designed to be sold as a bundle with other CFS products (e.g. Custody and/or Fund Services) and is client segment (asset managers, asset owners and alternatives) and region agnostic. It leverages the Bank’s platforms to deliver scale and drive a global service model.
Position Description:
The EMEA Middle Office Services (MOS) Product Management Executive will be responsible for business strategy and performance and client management across the region encompassing a broad range of product management related functions including, but not limited to, sales/RFI/RFP support, business operations, risk, control, governance, finance and regulatory related matters.
This individual will work closely with the MOS Global Head to design and implement a globally consistent and well controlled business operation. Day-to-day responsibilities will involve this person working closely with functional business partners, including product managers, sales, client service, operations, finance, business control oversight, operations control management, technology, legal, and risk.
This position provides an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong blend of client service/sales, product development, operational control, and service delivery skills to help drive implementing the global middle office service and to own and drive regional strategy and pnl.
Based upon the broad nature of this role and significant interaction with senior MOS staff, the business is seeking a motivated, self-starter with a proven ability to deliver, an ability to build strong business relationships, effectively interact with senior management & partner with others to meet internal / external imposed deadlines and drive timely resolution of issues.
Extensive experience of securities industry experience required, in middle office or back office operations of an asset manager or financial services firm preferred; Strong technical understanding of the investment company industry
Proven ability to manage a portfolio of clients end to end service delivery and profitability
Professional and proactive approach to work, problem solver, politely impatient, persistent individual
Leadership & Motivation; the ability to manage change and deliver results
Understanding of cost and pricing methodologies for the purpose of evaluating new business
Advanced analytical skills & strong client service orientation
Strong prioritization skills and an ability to deliver under pressure
Strong organizational skills, concerns for quality & accuracy and working to strict deadlines
Strong communication skills both oral and written; excellent interpersonal skills
Understanding of control self assessment (CSA), or similar, methodologies
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PPT
Bachelor degree required, degree preference is Finance, Accounting or Economics, CPA and/or MBA preferred
