BUSINESS UNIT AND ROLE OVERVIEW
Opportunity to join the Financing Group in the Investment Banking Department as an Analyst. The group is responsible for origination, structuring and execution a variety of debt financing transactions, including bond issues, alternative financing solutions and derivatives for a broad range of clients in Europe including State-related entities, financial institutions and corporate clients. The diversity of clients and products covered creates a highly entrepreneurial and creative environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supporting senior bankers in originating, structuring and executing debt financing transactions in the region with a particular focus on sovereign, supranational and agency clients globally
- Providing analytical support to generate tailored funding and capital solutions for a wide range of clients
- Establishing and building out client relationships with a focus to intensify the dialogue around all treasury topics. In addition, the role will include the preparation of pitchbooks and other client materials, and taking part in the execution process on transactions
EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIRED
- Strong analytical and technical skill set and background
- An outstanding academic and professional record
- Prior experience in Capital Markets / Fixed Income in a major Investment Bank is beneficial but not required
- Fluency in English and ideally German is desirable
- Awareness of specifics of clients, sectors, products, markets and relevant regulatory developments
- Eagerness to drive and build-out client dialogues and relationships
- Ability to use technical skills and knowledge to solve problems and derive tailor-made advice
