The Best Connection Group Ltd is advertising this position on behalf of our client and is acting as a recruitment business.

We are a specialist supplier of temporary and permanent labour to the industrial and driving sectors.

We are currently seeking Multiple LGV Cat C1 7.5t Drivers to fill positions full time positions in Dartford!

The successful candidate will possess a current and valid 7.5t Licence and must have 7.5t driving experience.

On the job you will be tasked with the delivery of premium furniture products to residential customers within the south east area.

You will be designated as part of a 1-2 man team delivering these products into the customers home to the room of choice. Because of this some level of physical fitness will be required. There will be no assembly to be done however.

Communicating with customers and dealing with orders will also mean you will need a good level of customer service.

Hours of Work

Monday to Friday – Tuesday to Saturday Shift pattern.
6am starts with a scheduled finish around 4-5pm
Some over time may be required.

Immediate starts Available, temp to perm 12 weeks

Pay rate: £10.00 per hour PAYE £12.00 per hour LCC

Length of Assignment

These positions will be starting on a temporary basis with the intention to take on the right candidates full time after a successful trial period with the company. This is an excellent opportunity to to get your foot in the door of a rapidly expanding company with a great working atmosphere.

Responsibilities of the LGV 7.5t Driver

Operate a Cat C1 7.5t vehicle to local areas, making deliveries, product pick up, etc.
Perform complete pre- and post-operation inspection of the vehicle in accordance with Company policy to ensure tyre pressure, fluid levels, safety equipment, gauges, and controls are in proper working order. Report any safety issues on standard reports.
Adhering to assigned delivery schedule and following all job directives precisely Interact with dispatchers and others on a daily basis to ensure all task are carried out in a timely and professional manner and prepare to return home.
Deliver a high level of customer service to all customers.
Maintain adherence to required productivity standards for the department to ensure all customers are serviced in a timely and efficient manner.
Follow all required safety policies and procedures and adhering to social distancig guidelines
