I retired from the NHS in June 2023 and seeking to continue and expand my career as an HGV (Class C+E) driver in the UK and Europe.

Whilst I live on the Isle of Wight, I am happy to commute to the mainland and travel as required at short notice to bases / depots nationwide to fulfill any role in the transport industry as a class C or C+E driver.

My particular interests are tramping work, as well as European or long-distance roles (I have significant European driving experience having lived in Germany for 3 years) and I have experience across a diverse range of trailers and loads including :-

·       Vacuum Tankers

·       Rigid

·       Flatbed

·       Curtainsiders

·       Walking Floors

·       Tippers

·       Double Decker Curtainsiders

·       Containers – 20ft – 45ft

I have also driven Class 2 and smaller goods vehicles including agricultural vehicles.

All the above includes safe operation of the trailers as well as safe load securing / roping and sheeting etc…

I have also undertaken driving assessments successfully and have completed additional training at my own expense to enhance my skills further including specialist complex HGV 1 reversing techniques.

·       Full CPC card (no update required for 4 years)

·       DP World Gateway Certificate (Southampton)

·       London Gateway Dock Card

·       Felixstowe Dock Card

·       Immingham Dock Card

·       Portico Induction (Portsmouth Docks)

·       First Aid at Work Certificate
