Full job description
Jack Richards are looking for professional Class 1 (C+E) 5/6 Day Drivers (Mon Start Day) to join our well-established, family run haulier.

** Unfortunately, we are not accepting applications from Newly Qualified Drivers with less than 12 months’ Commercial Class 1 (C+E) Driving experience**

** You must hold a valid LGV/HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence, hold a UK digital tachograph card and a full DQC (CPC card) **

Role involves:

Ensuring vehicles comply with legal requirements, reporting issues to your DC team
Ensure the security and accuracy of delivery of the loads in your charge
Following delivery instructions accurately and effectively
Drive in a safe and efficient manner
Comply with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations
In return you will get:

Estimated Gross Annual Earnings:
5/6 Days (Mon Start Day): c. £43,300 + Bonuses (see below)
The above figures include:
Enhanced Rates after 10 hours
up to £10 per Day Meal Allowance (Tax Free)
In addition you can also earn:
£6 per shift worked Retention Bonus (max. c. £1,500 p.a.)
SAFED Fuel Bonus (max. c. £1,000 p.a.)
