We are now looking for an LGV Class 1 Night Driver to join us on a permanent, full-time basis, working Monday to Friday with start times between 17:00-18:00 (some flexibility may be required based on business needs).

The Role

As an LGV Class 1 Night Driver, you will complete deliveries and collections of building-related products across our dedicated Howden depots and Yusen depots across southern England.

You will ensure all products are secure, with no manual handling required. This is not a multi-drop role – you will typically complete between 1 to 3 deliveries and collections per shift.

About You

To be considered as an LGV Class 1 Night Driver, you will need:

At least two years’ commercial LGV Class 1 driving experience
A maximum of six points on your licence (excluding BA, IN10, CD, DD, DR or DG codes)
A valid DCPC qualification
A valid Digital Tachograph card
Excellent communication skills
To be customer-focused
To be able to work within a team environment
Excellent problem-solving skills
A flexible approach to your work and the ability to start at different times if necessary
A full, valid driving LGV Class 1 licence
