Job description

Main Purpose of the Job:

To drive a HGV vehicle (Flatbed & Bulker) delivering palleted & bagged aggregates as well as loose material when required to customers on time providing excellent customer service.

To adhere and comply with all driving legislation, compliance regulations and health and safety. All loads must be netted and strapped.

Monday to Friday, NO LATE NIGHTS, NO WEEKENDS

Complete vehicle daily inspection defect sheet and report any defects to site manager

Drive within the tachograph laws/driver hours and Working Time limits

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Delivery of goods to Customers

Supervise the loading of the vehicle so that products are safely loaded and secured

Ensure with the loader that the load is correct against the customer’s orders

Check goods off with customers and obtain signature If any errors mark ticket accordingly

Look after the vehicle and ensure that it is not subjected to unnecessary damage

Willing to perform any duties as may be deemed necessary or as may be required by the Company

HGV Class 1 licence Required

Drivers Current CPC essential

Salary £33,000 Plus £100 each month attendance bonus
