HGV 1 CONTAINER DRIVERS REQUIRED AM 04:00 – 08:00 AND 15:00 – 20:00 STARTS ADHOC OR MONDAY TO FRIDAY – PAYE OR UMBRELLA – AM SHIFTS ALSO AVAILABLE

Here at Ultimate Recruitment, I am looking for a pool of Class 1 container drivers to join my client based in Coventry.

Job Type:

Full Time – Monday to Friday or adhoc basis – Saturdays available – Temp 2 perm available
Shifts:
Monday to Friday – block bookings.
PM 15:00 -20:00 start time mainly around 16:00 starts
Monday to Friday drivers – 10 hours plus each day
AM shifts also available Monday to Friday ongoing
Bonus Scheme is being introduced over the next 2 months £130 per month (details will be updated asap)

Pay Rates;-

BREAKS PAID

MINIMUM 8 HOURS PAID ALL SHIFTS

AM Monday to Friday paid from 04:00 all hours:

£15.90 per hour PAYE

£17.82 per hour PAYE including rolled up holiday pay

£19.50 per hour Umbrella

Nights Monday to Friday paid from from 1500 all hours:

£17.00 per hour

£19.05 per hour includes rolled up holiday pay

£21.00 per hour umbrella

Saturday all hours:

£17.00 per hour PAYE

£19.05 per hour PAYE includes rolled holiday pay

£21.00 per hour Umbrella

Sunday all hours:

£18.50 per hour PAYE

£20.17 per hour PAYE including rolled holiday pay

£22.50 PER HOUR Umbrella

BREAKS PAID

Role:

To deliver or collect containers – mainly running to Felixstowe docks.
Key Responsibilities:

Safely and efficiently operate a truck to transport goods to designated locations mainly Felixstowe
Safely dealing with loading and offloading of containers including using trailers- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations while on the road
Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage
Communicate with dispatch to receive instructions and updates on delivery routes
Provide exceptional customer service when interacting with clients during deliveries
Qualifications:

Container experience NOT essential but desirable
Valid CE driver’s license (HGV Class 1)
Minimum of 6 months experience as a HGV 1 driver essential
Clean driving record with no major violations or accidents
Experience using Skeletal trailers including trailers with a sliding bogie and twist locks.
Experience driving both Manual and Automatic vehicles
Strong knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
Felixstowe rhides port card is required – if yours has expired or you do not have your Felixstowe card this can be obtained by completing the online test – we will send you the link
