HGV Class 1 Tramper – LHD (left hand drive)

Days

Mon – Fri £15.00ph

Nights out @£25.00 per night

Taskmaster Resources LTD are looking for a HGV Class 1 tramper with experiance in driving and operating a LHD (left hand drive truck) vehicle for my client who are a manufacturer and imported of carpet and vinyl and deliver these length and breadth of the country which is why the need to night out for the week is vital.

Due to insurance purposes we require you to have held your licence for a minimum of 2 years and have been driving within that time and be able to prove to the client.

If you have a moffet licence is would be advantageous but not necessary as the client would look to put you through an in house training course.

The vehicle and trailer are based in Halesowen, but the successful applicant would need to attend 2 days training at the Doncaster depot which will include a night out in the truck. This is so you can undertake a driver assessment and be shown more about the role.

Responsibilities

Operate HGV a LHD Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently for long-distance deliveries.
Ensure timely delivery of goods while adhering to all traffic regulations and company policies.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to maintain vehicle safety and compliance.
Manage flatbed loads securely and efficiently, ensuring proper loading and unloading procedures.
Maintain accurate delivery logs and communicate effectively with dispatch and customers.
Provide excellent customer service during delivery interactions.
Applicants must have the following:

Hold a valid Category C+E (Class 1) HGV/ LGV entitlement with LHD experiance
MINIMUM OF 2 YEAR CLASS 1 EXPERIENCE
Hold a valid Digital Tachograph Card (Digi Card).
Have no more than 6 points on your license; DR DD IN endorsements are NOT accepted.
Hold a full CPC.
Be Polite and Pleasant.
