T Quality, January 2024 – present

With news that Lions Logistics was to lose it’s contract with Amazon in February 2024, I took an opportunity to return to T Quality as a Operations Supervisor, for this role I would be supporting the operations manager with the day to day running of the depot, this would include site and vehicle maintenance, bringing in and training new staff including probation reviews, warehouse duties including stock control, receiving goods and loading.

I also took control of all transport needs including vehicle compliance, route and driver requirements, I would also ensuring all administrative tasks were complete and up to date.

Lions logistics Support, June 2023 – Jan 2024

I joined Lions Logistics to pursue a career in HGV class1, this was contract work with Amazon.

My main duty was to collect and deliver trailers to various sites around the midlands, south of England and south Wales, this was done following rules and guidance with the aid of an app.

I would also follow health and safety procedures and company guidelines.

T Quality, April 2017 – June 2023

As an HGV Driver Supervisor my main roles are route planning and driver placement for up to 20 drivers with various abilities along with different vehicle types, transport paperwork and audits including VU downloads, Covering for driver’s holidays and absences. I will also support the depot with goods in and loading, stock control and make minor repairs to vehicle bodies.

Spending 2 years on a Youth training scheme I learned various aspects of landscaping and grounds maintenance including grass/hedge cutting, planting trees/shrubs, laying patios and erecting fences. This scheme also included a 2-year college course.
