Project Manager – Global Investment & Corporate Banking Technology

Banking Technology supports technology for 3 parts of the Banking business under CIB (Corporate & Investment Bank), namely GIB (Global Investment Banking), GCB (Global Corporate Banking), TS (Treasury Services), and CIB markets with regards Cross Border. GIB works with a broad range of issuer clients, including corporations, institutions and governments, and provides comprehensive strategic advice, capital raising and risk management expertise. GCB manages the firm’s relationships with large corporations, financial institutions and public sector organizations globally to help our clients meet their objectives and challenges in financing, risk management, working capital, cash management and investments. Treasury Services delivers cash management, trade, liquidity, commercial card and escrow services that resolve the working capital and efficiency challenges treasury professionals face today.
This role covers the build out and delivery of a Cross Border platform across CIB
You will be a hands on technical project manager responsible to defining, planning and executing the build out of a Cross Border compliance and surveillance platform, were you will be responsible for a small team of Business Analysts and Developers.
You will work with both Front Office users to help deliver solutions to them that improve their ability to meet and comply with cross border regulations through the use of Mobile applications, improved processes, and ease of access to information. In addition you will work with the surveillance and controls team to deliver a scalable, auditable, and efficient system for monitoring, alerting and case management.
The role will bring you into contact with systems across CIB with regards planning and execution of the initiative.
The role will require you to help different business areas and functions come to the best solution for the whole in delivering this solution.

Required Skills

Hands-on experience leading technical build-outs of global applications with expertise in below areas:

Define tools, screens and applications that should be built to execute on the roadmap(s).

Ability to Partner with Technology teams across the CIB to bring about common use of components within Cross Border.

Ability to, drive, project manage and implement technology solutions impacting multiple areas, and remote development teams.

Manage the priorities, deliverables, business buy-in and adoption including leading stakeholder management and communication.

Ability to define and execute the Cross Border compliance strategy that meets the business goals of improving the front office’s ability to understand and comply to cross border regulations, as well simplifying and automation of surveillance.

Coordinate across numerous constituencies to gain consensus, mediate conflicts and develop innovative, efficient, competitive approaches to issues.

Analyse existing capabilities and identify priority gaps and opportunities.

Drive actionable and implementable strategies that produce tangible results.

Have a broad technical understanding encompassing Linux, relational databases, Java, principles of cloud technology, and mobile, to be able to set direction and lead a team of technical development team.
