About the Role
We’re looking for a Marketing & Communications Executive/Manager to join our Corporate & Asset Finance group (CAF), based in London
You’ll provide integral support to the EMEA regional business in designing, developing and implementing internal and external communications initiatives that promote and maximise stakeholder understanding of our products and services. You will coordinate and support the preparation of pitches and be the main contact for all business marketing material. You will work across a range of disciplines including internal communications, brand and marketing, digital, creative services and event marketing, acting as the pivotal point between these groups and CAF.
Key responsibilities:
- Design and maintain CAF regional marketing collateral, including credentials presentations and website content
- Update the business intranet, including content authoring, editing and publishing
- Support the development and distribution of employee communications through content sourcing, collating information and drafting articles
- Coordinate staff updates and newsletters using Macquarie’s email marketing platform
- Support, monitor and provide guidance to CAF businesses on the use and implementation of Macquarie’s corporate brand standards
- Support and coordinate internal social media channel management
- Liaise with internal and external partners (as needed) to execute tactical marketing and communications initiatives including legal and compliance, HR, graphic designers, printers, web developers, creative agencies and corporate communications
- Own the development of marketing materials including presentations, brochures, flyers and videos, as needed
- Collate metrics and reporting on the effectiveness of activities to support the strategic development of internal communications
About you
You will have:
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role, ideally from within a financial services environment.
- A relevant degree in marketing and / or communications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, coupled with exceptional attention to detail, and a “can do” attitude with a focus on providing exceptional client service and a “roll up your sleeves” attitude.
- Graphic design skills with proficiency in Adobe CS5 (Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign) and Adobe Acrobat Pro, along with HTML web technology experience.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office suite of products, with a strong proficiency in PowerPoint and Word.
- Copywriting, editing and proof reading experience.
- Knowledge and experience working with social media as a content channel.
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to work well under pressure and multi-task to meet deadlines.
- Ability to foster close working relationships with staff at all levels.
- Preference for working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, with the ability to respond to needs and changing priorities quickly and easily
