CLASS 1 HGV Driver – Cat C+E NIGHT TRUNK – NO AGENCIES.

What are we offering?

Full time, permanent working hours with no zero hour’s contracts.
A competitive shift rate of up to £160 per night which equates to £40320 per annum.
You will work 19:00hrs to 07:00hrs Monday to Friday nights.
Weekly pay on each Friday.
28 days paid holiday per year.
No tramping or weekend work, providing you with a work/life balance.
A dedicated vehicle from our modern fleet to ensure you have the best tools for the job.
Onsite staff support.

NO CENTRAL LONDON WORK
What will I be doing?

Our drivers are responsible for moving freight in a safe and professional manner from our depot to our customers, you’ll be:

Ensuring the vehicle is properly loaded, safely secured and in-line with road and transport legislation.
Collecting hub collection pallets to bring back to the depot for trunking.
Completing daily maintenance checks on your vehicle and reporting any issues via our app.
Driving in inclement weather, such as light snow, heavy rain etc.
Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
What we are looking for?

Applicants will have a Class 1 C+E driving license.
Valid CPC/DQC record.
Ideally, at least one 1-year C+E experience however we can offer enhanced training to the right candidate.
Ability to manage time and routes for a streamlined delivery experience.
Ability and knowledge of lifting and handling procedures.
Work well independently using initiative and common sense.
Open and transparent communication both verbal and written.
The successful candidate will be safety focused, ensuring work is completed in a safe and professional manner.

No previous disqualifications IN, DD, DR or MR.
