RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS
HOW YOU WILL FULFIL YOUR POTENTIAL
The CRM Technology Team is responsible for developing an in-house client relationship application, deployed globally across Fixed Income and Equity Sales. With an increasing focus on understanding and servicing our clients more effectively, the value of an effective CRM strategy is becoming ever more critical to our business. This is an exciting time to be joining the team as we are looking to increase our overall technology investment and migrate much of the existing desktop/.NET application to a modern web stack (Java/ JavaScript, RESTful web services).
– Design and develop new functionality within the existing CRM application
– Work with end-users to translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications
– Manage application changes through the full development lifecycle across a wide range of technologies, including Java, C#, AngularJS
– Provide 3rd line support on a rota basis
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES WE ARE LOOKING FOR
– Strong academic record with Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline required
– Prior software development/engineering experience gained from working within Investment Banking/Financial Services/FinTech/Digital industries required
– Hands-on development experience with Java, full stack with exposure to the full software development lifecycle required
– Demonstrated interest in finance with knowledge of fixed income, trading instruments and processes required
– Familiar with object oriented programming concepts, design patterns, and other software development best practices required
– Experience of reporting, coding, providing technical support, bug fixing required
– Knowledge of bonds, foreign exchange, futures, repos required
– Experience with JavaScript and familiarity with C#, JQuery, ReactJS, Jira, algorithms required
– Relational database experience, SQL/MySQL required
– Experience of developing web applications with knowledge of various web application frameworks and RESTful services required
– Demonstrable involvement with process improvement/automation initiatives required
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required
– Strong team player, required to work extensively with other teams both locally and globally
– Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) required
