Full job description
MJ Church are recruiting for a HGV Class 2 Tipper Driver to work out of our head office in Marshfield. MJ Church is a very successful family run business with a friendly and hard-working team with 50 years experience in the industry. We are looking to add additional drivers to the fleet after a recent expansion.

We are looking to add flexible drivers to our fleet that are willing to work between our 2 operating centres. Successful candidates will be based out of our head office and occasionally join a crew that commutes daily to our scheme on the A465 Heads of the Valley, Aberdare CF44.

The role will consist of collection and delivery of aggregate and waste material around the Wiltshire/Bristol/South Glos area when working within the local fleet. On occasions when we require you to work at the A465, you will be moving aggregate and waste material between various site locations along our scheme.

The role;

Monday – Friday (Core hours: Local driving, 0600 -1730 / A465, 0530 – 1830)
£13 per hour
£10 per day attendance bonus (South Wales)
Transporting aggregate and waste material around the South West/South Wales in 8-wheel Tippers
Weekly pay
20 days holidays plus Bank Holidays
Full on the job training given
Company branded PPE provided
Skills and experience required;
Ability to work on your own or as part of a team
Preferably 2 years’ experience
Class 2 Licence + valid CPC
Reliable, efficient, flexible and hardworking.
Full understanding and knowledge of WTD and drivers’ hours regs
Excellent communication skills
Competent and comfortable using a PDA to complete daily vehicle checks and throughout the day to complete scheduled work
