Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced fitter to join our team at the Wheel Plant. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in maintaining and repairing plant machinery, lorries, and pavers.

Responsibilities:

Conducting routine maintenance and repairs on plant machinery, lorries, and pavers.
Diagnosing mechanical issues and implementing effective solutions.
Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and within specified deadlines.
Collaborating with team members to maximize efficiency and productivity.
Always Adhering to health and safety regulations.
Keeping work areas clean and tidy.
Requirements:

Proven experience as a fitter, preferably in a similar role.
Expertise in maintaining and repairing plant machinery, lorries, and pavers.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work well in a team environment.
Clean and tidy work habits.
Availability for a 40-hour workweek with overtime as needed.
Willingness to be on call when required.
Valid driver’s license.
