Overview:
Yorkshire Staffing are currently seeking experienced 7.5t Delivery Driver for a reputable company based in Kingston-Upon-Hull and surrounding areas.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Transport goods from origin to designated delivery locations.
Load and unload goods securely, ensuring proper handling and care.
Conduct pre- and post-shift inspections of vehicles, reporting any maintenance or repair needs promptly.
Collect/deliver items, load/empty OPD lockers, exchange dust control mats as shown on documentation
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption.
Establish and maintain good Customer relations and act as liaison between Customer and Company
Load vehicles and unload them in specified areas.
REQUIREMENTS
Valid 7.5t Driving license.
Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC).
Minimum of 1 years of Multi-drop Delivery driver experience.
In-depth knowledge of relevant regulations, including driving and working time rules.
Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work independently and meet delivery deadlines.
No more than 6 penalty points
This position offers the opportunity for a temporary-to-permanent transition after an 8-week period.

Contract length: 8 weeks
Pay: From £29,000.00 per year
