Class 1 LGV Drivers – SHUNTERS

A leading UK retailer based in Gillmoss, Liverpool

Days £19.85phr PAYE or £22.25phr PAYE including holiday pay

Nights £23.61 PAYE or £26.46 PAYE including holiday pay

Jobs start in March 2024 and will be on-going and could become permanent for the right Driver. Working 4 on 4 off shift pattern on a rota basis which is set in advance. Either 5am-5pm or 5pm-5am / 6am-6pm or 6pm-6am

Our client is looking for professional shunter drivers with experience shunting in a DC environment. There will be up to 100 movements per shift. Managing trailer movements from a handheld tablets using Terberg Shunt vehicles 182 / 183 to make the movements. You will also be securing the trailers using padlocks on the airlines and keeping accurate trailer movement records.

Here is the criteria to apply:-

– Hold a valid C&E Driving licence

– DCPC Valid card for Driver Certificate of professional competence card

– Min of 25 years of age with at least 12 months exp in C+E role (for insurance purposes)

– Good working knowledge of EU Driver hours and WTR rules

– Enjoy working with people at the stores

– Health & Safety awareness

– Minimal infringements on your Tachograph card
