Driver

Salary: £37,000 per annum (Hourly Paid)

Hours: 7am – 5pm Monday to Friday and 1 in 2 Saturdays 7am – 12pm depending on business needs (paid as extra hours)

Our brand new site in Attleborough will be opening on 20th of May 2024 with a start date of 6th of May.

Partnered with IRS (Intelligent Repair Services) based in Germany, who are the largest provider of accident claim services in Europe, this partnership provides Halo with an unrivalled platform and the resource for excellent training, development and employee packages!

To support our Bodyshop, we are looking for a HGV driver with A full UK Driving Licence, excellent computer literacy and brilliant customer service skills.

We are creating the next generation of repair centres, driven by a passion for service, quality, and customer focus, and we want you to be a part of it!

The role will include, but is not limited to:

Collecting and delivering vehicles & observing all highway laws including speed restrictions
Inspecting vehicles and assessing damage; taking clear photos throughout
Coordinating and updating all administrative duties in relation to your role
A clear, methodical and clean working area which is to be maintained at all time
Adhere to all areas of Health and Safety and report any issues as a matter of urgency
Follow company processes relating to car cleaning and imaging as vehicles will need to be cleaned on return to the site, whether that is by a car wash or by hand.
Assisting and interacting with the workshop staff and utilizing your mechanical/fitting knowledge to get vehicles through the workshop as efficiently and effectively as possible.
Performing all other adhoc administrative duties as allocated by the Logistics Manager
Supply a positive & enthusiastic approach to your working day at all times

We are looking for owner-drivers, fleet owners, and HGV drivers (Class 1 or 2) based anywhere in the UK and interested in taking the next step up and becoming owner-operators and transport company owners. To get started and apply for an Operator’s Licence, you need to have £8,000 which is a requirement of the UK and EU transport regulations (you won’t spend it). We can help you with the rest of the process.
