Education
I have been studying ‘Fashion Marketing’ at Leeds Beckett University from September 2018 to present day. So far, this course has enabled me to improve my knowledge for marketing skills and predicting consumers’ needs due to the two marketing modules I have studied. It has also allowed me an insight into forecasting recent trends in the fashion industry due to the fashion forecasting modules I have studied. Furthermore, the course I am studying has also allowed me to enhance my creativity skills by analysing how brands develop and how they improve their brand identity, as well as key media and styling skills developed in my fashion styling and fashion branding module. Other key skills I have so far developed on this course include editorial skills improving my writing skills and basic life skills of coping with time management and teamwork.

·      Proficiency in Adobe programmes such as Photoshop, In Design, Premiere Pro and Illustrator. As well as the programmes CAD and 2D Design.
·      Proficiency in digital photography.
·      Excellent communication within team environments, and in a one-to-one situation.
·      Efficiently completing deadlines to a high standard whilst under pressure.
·      a creative mindset during problem solving, and whilst completing specific tasks.
·      A positive attitude which constantly enables me to improve on what I have been taught and meet goals and objectives set.
·      Trustworthiness whilst dealing with confidential documents and finance.
Industry Experiences
·      Creating branding for my Dad’s wholesaling business (logo, business cards, signs.) During this process I used my creativity skills to produce a strong brand identity throughout.

·      From 2017, I have helped my father’s business of wholesaling artificial flowers to independent shops around North England. This includes displaying the items and supplying them to the managers of the stores, all whilst dealing with, and receiving payments/deliveries to manage. This has allowed me to advance my communication, creativity, trustworthiness and time management skills.
·      For my Sixth form work experience in 2017, I did an internship at ‘Magic Moments Photography’. For this internship/job I had to: promote products, take event photographs, edit photographs and sell them. This required good communication, creativity, teamwork skills, and time management. This also allowed me develop my skills of working with different software’s and digital equipment.

·      As a summer job I was temporarily employed at a florist called ‘Pick of the Bunch.’ The job roles included creating arrangements to sell as well as serving customers and dealing with orders. This has developed my creative talent, time management, trustworthiness, communication skills and confidence.
Achievements
·      I have been involved with musical theatre in the past, gaining myself main roles in shows, this allowed me to gain confidence and an interest in communicating with new people.
·      In a duration of three weeks in 2016 I completed NCS (National Citizen Service). During this time, I improved my leadership, teamwork and social skills through our group having to encourage each other during outdoor activities.

·      I volunteered at a local cemetery during my third week of NCS, this due to it not being a pleasant place for a family to visit their love ones because of poor maintenance. To complete this project in an allocated time required time management and teamwork.

·      First aid skills learnt during my time at NCS, this short course also taught me to keep calm in stressful situations.

·      From the years 2013 to 2015 I also took part in Guides. During this time, I interacted with a wide range of new people from an early age, this allowed me to acquire new social skills which will allow me tackle challenges/ activities in a team-based format. During this time, I became a Guides leader; allowing me to apply these skills whilst working with other leaders to plan and organise group activities.

·       During Sixth form I received an award in 2017 and one in 2018 alongside positive feedback regarding my dedication of putting in extra effort and progress into two of my Sixth form A-levels; Product Design and Graphic Design. This shows that as a person I will go above and beyond to perfect any tasks I work on, with only two awards being given to two people from each course.

Additional Skills
·      I possess a clean driving license.
·      I have the ability to operate both Macs and PC’s.
