Barbary Logistics Ltd is looking for experienced HGV class 1 drivers for trunking to join our company in Milton Ernest, Bedfordshire, MK44 1FD.

Subject to the successful completion of our screening and vetting process you will be delivering between the national depots of a big distributor and will play a key role in keeping their commitment to exceed customer expectations and make sure their customer orders are delivered on time at the right place. As stated before, this is pure trunking with light weight loads – drivers do not touch the load at all.

Key Details: Full time work starts as soon as background checks and Drugs test are complete, for a permanent position. The operation is 24/7, so drivers will need to be flexible. No loading or unloading.

You will be expected to interact in a positive and professional manner and value customer service. As a 24 hour operation, shift times will vary week on week so flexibility will be required. This will be a flexible contract (12 hours shifts), from minimum 4 shifts up to 6 shifts per week. We are operating a 4 days on 3 days off rota pattern.

Weekly pay is based on £157.00 per shift, with a six months probationary period.

Requirements: C+E license, Driver CPC Card (or DQC Card) and Digi tacho card. Understand and comply with tachograph and drivers hours regulations. Minimum of 6 months LGV driving experience on UK roads. A good level of spoken English is required. No more than six penalty points on your license (as well as no DD, DR or IN endorsements).
