This will be a varied role covering business analysis to control and governance across a variety of Regulatory regimes. As a business analyst, you will concentrate on the positioning of strategic programs and remediating issues with the existing reporting framework.
The role will focus on the user community, and the effective communication and delivery of these programs.
The core responsibilities of this position include:
developing a keen understanding of the unique business needs, securing a strong working knowledge of the processes and responsibilities of all those involved in the business workflow, preparing and maintaining the overall project plan, coordinating product delivery and distribution
assisting teams in the creation and implementation of new procedures and controls
consulting with each product line to establish performance measurement criteria and upon agreement
create and maintain a program that tracks the criteria, following up with the area on ways to improve the measures; working to create a proactive program around communication of group activities as well as increasing interaction with the business.
Key Responsibilities
Review and analyse requirements for Post Trade Transparency & Transaction Reporting under MiFIR/MiFIDII for Equity Derivative products including:
Document the ‘As Is’ controls & order workflow
Work with Business Management & Front Office teams to develop controls & order workflow
Work with Middle Office SME’s to ensure Operational Readiness and ensure Technology & existing procedures are changed as requiredCo-ordination of UAT, acting as point of contact between line team testers and Technology teams, documenting issues as they arise and ensuring they are recorded in the appropriate defect management tool
Secure stakeholder signoffs at relevant stages of project
Provide written and verbal communications to stakeholders throughout all project phases, using appropriate project management communication tools and methods
Work with Middle Office SME’s to write and validate procedures in relation to new reports and processes to ensure Compliance and Audit are comfortable with our controls environment
Provide effective governance and monitoring to our controls to ensure that issues are found and remediated in a timely fashion
Create and manage a proactive program that improves our trade lifecycle to ensure regulatory complianceStrong business analysis skills

Experience in workflow analysis and documentation
Strong communication, and presentation skills
Strong teamwork and client management skills
Excellent working knowledge of Equity Derivative products, trade lifecycle and regulation (MiFID II preferable)
Strong working knowledge of Equities front & middle office operating model and technology stack is desirable, as well as established Tech & Ops working partnerships
Experience of SIT and UAT in a complex, low-latency trading environment
Experience of working with geographically dispersed technology and operations teams
Excellent communication skills in all media, with the ability to communicate at all levels
The ability to work well under pressure
Individual contributor and can work without constant supervision
