Job Description
Pertemps are recruiting for Class 1 day Dray Drivers for our client based in Totton on a short-term contract.

£15.00ph PAYE (HGV Class 1 – C+E)
Overtime – £22.50ph PAYE
Varying start times
Minimum 9 hours day – O/T after 9 hours
Regular work – NO WEEKENDS OR NIGHTS OUT

Full training is provided.

All Candidates must have:
Valid UK Driving Licence (Max. 6pts)
Valid HGV Class 1 Qualification
Valid CPC/Digi Tacho
Safety Boots & High Vis (Provided if needed)

We are looking for owner-drivers, fleet owners, and HGV drivers (Class 1 or 2) based anywhere in the UK and interested in taking the next step up and becoming owner-operators and transport company owners. To get started and apply for an Operator’s Licence, you need to have £8,000 which is a requirement of the UK and EU transport regulations (you won’t spend it). We can help you with the rest of the process.
